The Comms Team is responsible for conveying Snap’s mission, vision and values to core audiences within our community, which include Snapchatters, advertising partners, content partners, investors, policymakers, and Snap team members. This passionate team works hard to show the world what makes Snapchat the best platform for communication and storytelling, and to ensure the narratives about the company, its people, and its products are accurate and compelling.

We’re looking for a Head of Revenue & Advertising Communications to join our Communications Team!

What you’ll do:

  • Take a leadership role in formulating and executing Snap’s external communications strategy around our business, with a particular focus on advertising and B2B communications.

  • Partner closely with Snap’s President of Americas and others to determine and drive strategic narratives regarding Snap’s business, leveraging executive public speaking, thought leadership, earned media, digital strategies, and more.

  • Regularly interface with external business partners and internal leadership, execute and manage revenue-driving product launches, write communication plans and press FAQs, train executives for high-stakes interviews, and more.

  • Lead internal team meetings and long-term planning regarding Snap’s revenue communications strategy.

  • Brief internal stakeholders on marketing industry news and trends to inform strategic decisions, as well as identify important media moments and short and long-term risks related to our narrative.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Extensive knowledge of and experience working with business and tech media, with marketing and advertising media experience a strong plus.

  • Highly organized leader with proven experience managing direct reports.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to contextualize and prioritize a high volume of information, while managing competing deadlines from internal and external stakeholders.

  • Hands-on self-starters with a curiosity around business and the marketing industry.

  • Creativity, resourcefulness, and curiosity as well as a high level of professional integrity and confidentiality.

  • Collaborative team player who embodies our values of kind, smart and creative.

  • Ability to collaborate across teams including Communications, Sales, Marketing, Product, Investor Relations, Legal, and more.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent years of experience

  • 10+ minimum years of experience in communications or public relations

Compensation

In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These pay zones may be modified in the future.

Zone A (CA, WA, NYC) (https://careers.snap.com/us-payzones) :

The base salary range for this position is $202,000-$303,000 annually.

Zone B (https://careers.snap.com/us-payzones) :

The base salary range for this position is $192,000-$288,000 annually.

Zone C (https://careers.snap.com/us-payzones) :

The base salary range for this position is $172,000-$257,000 annually.

This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
